Passing thought: inversion of common sense

For the current scientific establishment, the complex machinery inside the cell (cf. Stephen Meyer's Signature in the Cell) constitutes no evidence of an intelligent designer, but is attributed to random, undirected processes. But the weather is a different story: the temperature variations are not random, but are due to human activity.

Global warming hoax revealed

As a casual follower of this issue, I am not really surprised by the recent revelation of damning emails between government-sponsored scientists. Climate Depot is a good starting point to get the recent news and information about the hoax that is global warming. AJStrata has a nice article about the statistical problems with the data and the processing thereof.

Now what: are the so-called scientists and the alarmists going to claim that the data was fake, but the conclusion was accurate?

The First Pacific President?

So Sarah Palin was mocked for supposedly saying something to the effect that she could see Russia from her house and that it qualified as some foreign policy experience. Where is the mocking of Barack Hussein Obama who said,
As America’s first Pacific president, I promise you that this Pacific nation will strengthen and sustain our leadership in this vitally important part of the world.”
