Gender Neutrality

How come when it comes to global warmism, it's man-made global warming? When it comes to a rebuke by St. James, it's adulterers (James 4:4, New Revised Standard Version, a supposedly "gender-neutral" translation), when the original Greek literally means adulteresses? Just asking.
