California Budget Impasse

We Californians are overtaxed. During a recession, everyone simply needs to tighten his or her belt. Why should we pay even more taxes for the stupidity of government? Not that I rejoice in seeing California go belly up, but perhaps starving the beast is the only way to return to fiscal sanity.

At any rate, I did my part to help the state's cash flow today. My DMV registration is due later in March, but I renewed today. There, $200 of early payments for California!
